DESCRIPTION

This is a seven-day-long pilgrimage; four of them we will spend at a facilitated camp in an exclusive place: on an island in the middle of the Ganges. The island is located in the very heart of Kumbha Mela only 3.5 km from the central purification place, HAR KI PAURI.

The island is available exclusively for the participants of our yatra. It will be under 24-hour guard by state institutions. Private access to the Ganges to perform the ritual purification. On the island, there will be only the participants and the staff. Meals prepared by a specially employed cook from a very popular restaurant in Rishikesh.

A special bridge built during preparation for the Maha Kumbha Mela festival links the island with the bank. Three different types of tents will be pitched on the island. Each tent provides a different level of comfort. Read more about the tent options here: Comfort, Deluxe, and Super Deluxe.

NB: Air flights to and from India, visa, and insurance are not included.

Security on the island will be provided by local authorities and the Indian Armed Forces which are entrusted to take safety measures during the Maha Kumbha Mela.
